# Accessibility Overview

> Track accessibility findings, triage issues, and download reports for your Application.

## Overview

The Accessibility area gives you a dedicated workspace for finding, triaging, and fixing accessibility issues that Spur detects while running your tests. It lives at `/accessibility` and appears as Accessibility in the main sidebar for workspaces with the feature enabled.

> [!NOTE]
>
> If you don't see Accessibility in your sidebar, your workspace doesn't have the feature enabled yet. [Contact us](https://docs.spurtest.com/additional-resources/contact-us.md) to get access.

Use these pages in the Accessibility sidebar:

* A11Y Dashboard — health score, severity breakdown, coverage, and change since your last report.
* Issues — every detected issue, grouped by severity, with filters, evidence, and triage actions.
* Screens — annotated screenshots of your pages, organized by flow.
* Reports — frozen point-in-time snapshots you can download and share.

## Choosing a scope

Accessibility data is scoped to a target URL. Use the scope controls at the top of the sidebar to:

* Choose a target URL — switch between the domains Spur has scanned.
* Choose an environment — pick which environment's findings to view. You can also select a viewport when more than one is available.
* View Live or a frozen report — Live shows every finding still open now. Selecting a frozen report shows exactly what was captured in that snapshot.
* Backdate the Live view — pick a date to see what was still open at the end of that day.

When you first open the Accessibility area, Spur defaults to a scope that holds findings, so you don't land on an empty scope that reads as a clean site. Your scope selection persists in the URL, so links you share open to the same view.

## The dashboard

The A11Y Dashboard summarizes the current state of your scope:

* Severity tiles — counts of Critical, Severe, and Moderate issues. The Moderate tile includes Minor issues.
* Accessibility Health Score — a letter grade (A through F) derived from a 0–100 score. The score uses weighted rule checks. Only asserted findings count; findings that need review, AI advisories, and recommendations are excluded. Click What does this mean? to see the finding counts and the score calculation for your report.
* Since last report — how many issues are new and how many were fixed and verified since your most recent frozen report. Generate a report to establish a baseline.
* Coverage — two tabs listing the pages Spur has scanned and the tests that produced accessibility evidence.
* Top fixes by impact — the fixes that clear the largest share of issue instances, so you know where to start.
* Download accessibility report — the Executive PDF button produces a concise summary with priorities, scope, coverage, and next steps.

> [!WARNING]
>
> Spur's accessibility reports summarize automated and test-observed findings. They are not a WCAG conformance claim or a completed VPAT/ACR. Manual evaluation is still required for a full conformance assessment.

## How data gets here

Contact the Spur team to enable accessibility checks and confirm which web-test browsers and viewports are configured for your Application. Then run a test in one of those configurations. Spur collects the findings during the run. The dashboard appears as soon as the first result is available. If you see "No accessibility data yet", run a test with the accessibility observer enabled for the target URL.
