# Accessibility Reports

> Freeze accessibility snapshots, download reports, and share stable links.

## Overview

The Reports page keeps a history of frozen accessibility reports for each scope. A frozen report is a point-in-time snapshot: it never changes as new findings come in, so you can use it as a baseline to share, compare against, and download later.

Frozen reports also power the Since last report card on the [dashboard](https://docs.spurtest.com/accessibility/overview.md), which measures new and fixed issues against your most recent snapshot.

## Generating a report

From the scope controls, click Generate a report from Live to freeze the current state of the selected target URL. The snapshot captures the scope's coverage along with its findings, so a frozen report shows the coverage as it stood at freeze time. If nothing changed since the last snapshot, Spur keeps the latest frozen report current instead of creating a duplicate.

> [!NOTE]
>
> You can freeze each scope once per 24 hours. If you already froze a report today, Spur shows a notice that you can freeze the scope again 24 hours after its latest snapshot. Each application also has a report limit across all scopes, 2 reports per rolling 7-day window by default. Once the limit is reached, Spur tells you generating becomes available again as earlier reports age out of the window.

## Downloading artifacts

You can export each frozen report in four formats:

* Executive summary PDF — a concise overview with priorities, scope, coverage, and next steps.
* Detailed audit PDF — the full findings, with evidence and per-issue detail.
* Developer handoff — a Markdown file with the findings and fixes.
* Raw report data — a JSON file for your own tooling.

> [!WARNING]
>
> These reports summarize automated and test-observed findings. They are not a WCAG conformance claim or a completed VPAT/ACR. Manual evaluation is still required.

## Viewing and sharing a snapshot

Open a frozen report to browse its issues exactly as they were captured. Triage actions still apply to the live issue state, so reviewing a snapshot never rewrites history.

When you copy an issue link from the [Issues page](https://docs.spurtest.com/accessibility/issues.md), you choose what the link points at:

* Link to this report — opens the issue inside the frozen report you're viewing. The link stays stable even as live data changes.
* Link to live — opens the issue against current data.

If a linked issue is outside the frozen report or hidden by the recipient's filters, Spur offers a View live fallback.
