Jira Integration Features

When creating Jira tickets from your test results, Spur automatically includes comprehensive test information to streamline your bug reporting workflow: Automatically Generated Information:
  • Complete steps to reproduce the bug
  • Detailed test observations and findings
  • Viewport dimensions the test was executed on
  • Target URL where the test was performed
  • All relevant test metadata
Setup Requirements: To use Jira integration, you must first connect your Jira account through the Integrations page. Once connected, you’ll need to:
  • Select the appropriate Jira project for ticket creation
  • Choose the default issue type for newly created tickets
Automated Ticket Creation: You can configure Spur to automatically create Jira tickets based on test outcomes. This allows you to set up rules that generate tickets when tests fail, ensuring no bugs slip through the cracks in your development workflow. Customization Before Submission: Before creating the Jira ticket, you can review and edit all automatically generated information including the title, description, steps to reproduce, and any other fields to ensure the ticket contains exactly the information your team needs.
