A Full Page Analysis step checks the entire page in one step, not only what is on screen. Use it for checks that span the whole page, such as untranslated or misspelled copy, price formatting, or banners and badges that must match a campaign. Each distinct issue is reported once, with a suggested correction, so a problem that repeats down the page does not repeat in your results.
Full Page Analysis steps are available for web tests only.

Modes

Use Text for wording, Visual for imagery, badges and layout, and Text and Visual when a check needs both, such as prices that appear in copy and in banners.

How to Add a Full Page Analysis Step

1

Open the step menu

In the step editor, type / and select Full Page Analysis.
2

Choose a mode

Select Text, Visual or Text and Visual. The step shows a Full page analysis chip naming the mode. You can also type the prefix yourself, for example Full Page Text:.
3

Describe the check

After the prefix, describe what the page must satisfy and how to report what does not, in plain language.

Results

Spur lists every issue it found, and the step’s result is handled like a Verify step. To log issues as warnings without failing the test, say so in the instruction, as in the examples above. If part of a page could not be checked, the step adds a warning saying so, so a clean result always means the whole page was checked.
